3-Ton Industrial Flake Ice Machine

ICEMA-BMF30 is a modular flake ice system delivering 3,000 kg of dry, free-flowing flake ice per day. It is designed for medium-scale fish processing rooms, poultry cooling, and bakery mixing applications. The split-type design separates the ice-making drum from the condensing unit, allowing flexible installation and easy maintenance.

Product Overview

The BMF30 consists of a wall-mounted or floor-standing ice-making module and a remote condensing unit. The evaporator drum is manufactured from carbon steel with an industrial hard-chrome plating, ensuring excellent wear resistance against the reamer blade and extended service life. The drum shaft uses heavy-duty tapered roller bearings rated for continuous 24-hour duty.


Working Principle

A circulation pump delivers water to a rotating distribution tray above the drum. Water cascades uniformly over the drum’s freezing surface, forming a thin ice layer. A high-precision reamer with multiple blades shears the ice into flakes of consistent thickness and allows it to fall directly into a customer-supplied storage bin or conveyor. Hot gas defrost is not required for normal operation due to the sub-cooled nature of the ice.


Advantages

The system uses a semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor and a water-cooled shell-and-tube condenser for stable performance in hot kitchens. The PLC controller features load monitoring, which automatically adjusts the drum speed to prevent motor stall if water supply is temporarily interrupted. Remote alarm contacts are standard for integration into building management systems. Standard power is 380V/50Hz/3P, It can also be customized according to the voltage standards of the customer's country.
