ICEMA-BMB50 is a high-output transparent block ice plant producing 5,000 kg of fully solid, visually clear blocks every 24 hours. Engineered for large-scale fish landing centers, centralized ice factories, and meat processing plants, it combines a reinforced direct-cooling evaporator with an industrial screw compressor package. The ice produced is sub-cooled, dense, and melts exceptionally slowly, maintaining product temperature during extended transport.
The BMB50 is built on a heavy-duty I-beam foundation with the evaporator and condensing unit mounted as separate modules for flexible plant layout. The evaporator plates are constructed from thick-gauge aluminum alloy with internal stiffeners, eliminating flex and maintaining precise inter-plate spacing over years of operation. A dedicated suction accumulator and oil separator in the refrigeration circuit protect the compressor against liquid slugging and ensure reliable lubrication return.
Water Purification Pretreatment: Filter and purify the water source first to remove impurities, calcium and magnesium ions, and ensure pure water quality.
Unidirectional Slow Ice Freezing: Only the bottom of the ice mold is in contact with the low-temperature evaporator (refrigeration plate), freezing slowly from bottom to top (about 3–4 days), instead of rapid freezing on all sides.
Water Circulation Degassing: Water keeps flowing slightly during freezing; air bubbles and impurities are carried away with the water flow and will not be sealed inside the ice.
Refrigeration Cycle: The compressor and evaporator continuously cool the bottom plate, maintaining a low temperature of approximately -15℃ for stable slow freezing.
Hot Fluorine Ice Release: After the ice is fully formed, switch to a small amount of hot refrigerant to heat the bottom plate, allowing the ice block to fall off automatically with full automation throughout the process.
The machine is driven by an open-type Bitzer screw compressor with an economizer port, delivering high COP at tropical condensing conditions. The control architecture supports remote monitoring via VPN or cloud-based dashboard, with automatic alert escalation for critical faults. A multi-stage water filtration and UV sterilization module ensures the ice meets HACCP and FDA indirect food-contact standards. The entire machine is CE-certified, and power supply is configurable 380–440V / 50–60Hz / 3P to suit global industrial grids.

Clear ice offers perfect light refraction, presenting clear and three-dimensional shapes after carving, making it the exclusive material for high-end ice sculpture competitions.

Clear ice is made into old-fashioned ice balls or square ice cubes, with a pure visual appearance. It melts slowly without affecting the taste or presentation of whiskey and cocktails.

For sample displays requiring realistic ice effects (such as seafood sashimi models and ice cream counter decorations), clear ice can be repeatedly melted and reshaped.

Clear block ice is chipped into crushed ice as a base, accentuating ingredients like oysters and Arctic surf clams to elevate the restaurant's tier.
