Our industrial tube ice machine supports both air-cooled and water-cooled options:

Air-cooled model: No external cooling tower required, simply connect water and power to start production with a simplified installation process, ideal for customers with limited site conditions.

Water-cooled model: Requires an external cooling tower and circulating water system, offering higher heat dissipation efficiency, suitable for high-temperature enclosed workshops or high-load continuous operation scenarios.

All water-contact parts are made of food-grade SUS304 stainless steel (316L stainless steel optional for corrosive environments). The vertical evaporator tubes ensure even ice formation, and the automatic ice cutter produces standard tube ice with high density, slow melting, and non-sticky performance, suitable for direct food contact. Equipped with a Siemens PLC intelligent control system, it enables automatic ice making, defrosting, and cutting, with multiple safety protections for overload, high/low pressure, and water shortage, supporting stable 24-hour continuous operation.

Q: Does the tube ice machine need to be kept running 24 hours a day?
A: No manual switching on and off is required. The tube ice machine will automatically enter standby and sleep mode with low power consumption once the ice storage is full. If it is out of use for a short period of 3 to 5 days, you can turn it off and drain the accumulated water. For long-term shutdown, cut off the power supply and drain all water.
Q: What is the best water quality for daily use? Can well water be used directly?
A: Filtered water and tap water are preferred. For hard water and well water, it is recommended to install a water purification filter to prevent scale buildup from blocking pipelines and affecting ice-making efficiency.
Q: How often should the tube ice machine be cleaned and maintained?
A: In areas with hard water quality, perform descaling and cleaning every 3 to 6 months; in areas with good water quality, clean it twice a year. Clean the filter screen of the water inlet valve every 2 months to prevent blockage by impurities.
Q: How to simply clean scale on the evaporator and pipelines by yourself?
A: Drain the water tank completely, add clean water together with special citric acid, start the water circulation system and let it run for 2 to 3 hours. After draining the sewage, rinse twice with clean water. The operation is simple and no disassembly is required.
Q: Is loud operating noise of the tube ice machine normal?
A: Slight sound from the compressor and fan is normal during operation. If the noise suddenly becomes louder, check whether the tube ice machine is placed level, if foreign objects are stuck in the fan, and if the foot pads are loose.
