Product Overview

The BMB10 is engineered as an all-in-one block ice solution for moderate, yet continuous demand. It uses a vertical-plate direct cooling evaporator with individual refrigerant loops, freezing water from the inside out to remove impurities and ensure transparent blocks. The unit is skid-mounted, requiring only utility connections to operate, which dramatically reduces site installation time.


Working Principle

Fresh water fills the ice molds, and refrigerant circulates through the evaporator plates, freezing the water rapidly into uniform blocks. Once blocks reach the pre-set thickness, hot gas from the compressor is injected into the plates for fast defrost, and the blocks fall by gravity into an integrated insulated storage bin. The system automatically refills for the next batch, with all drain and defrost water purged to maintain hygiene.

A microcomputer PLC control panel provides one-touch start, real-time ice thickness monitoring, and full-protection alarms including phase loss, high-pressure cut-out, and ice-bin full stop. The water-contact surfaces are food-grade SUS304, and the standard block weight is 5 kg per piece (customizable mold for 2–10 kg). Power supply runs on 220V/60Hz/1P as standard, with 380V tri-phase optional, suiting small shops and mobile operations.
